About The Role
The Concept Group is seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Management Accountant to join our growing team based at our offices in Dunmurry Business Park, Belfast.
 
This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented individual to become part of a fast-paced and expanding business.
 
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the business, ensuring accurate financial records and assisting with the smooth running of the accounts function.
 
This is a development role and would be perfectly suited to a Part Qualified, Newly Qualified Accountant or Accounts Technician ready to take the next step in their career.
 
You will have complete autonomy over finance operations and play a key role in supporting the business in achieving its strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities
• Processing purchase and sales invoices
• Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Bank reconciliations and cash management
• Credit control and customer account management
• Preparing financial reports and management information
• Assisting with month-end and year-end procedures including Audit
• Maintaining accurate financial records and filing systems
• Liaising with suppliers, customers, and internal departments
• Supporting the wider administration and finance teams as required
• Processing VAT for dual tax jurisdictions (ROI and UK) content here

Essential Requirements
• Previous experience working in an accounts or finance role
• Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Competent in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and Manage deadlines efficiently

Desirable Requirements
• A qualification such as AAT, CIMA, ACCA (part qual) or equivalent
• Experience using Sage, Xero, or similar accounting software
• Experience working within a multi-site or service-based business

• Understanding of trader support services (TSS declarations)
